Fire Destroys Linn County Machine Shed

LINN County, Iowa - Crews from seven departments responded to a machine shed fire Tuesday morning south of Prairieburg. Firefighters were still on the scene in the 4500 block of Prairieburg Road as of 5 p.m. Investigators say farm equipment was inside the building, which was destroyed.
Linn County Teen Facing Charges Following Stabbing

ALBURNETT, Iowa - The Linn County Sheriff's office said a 16-year-old boy is facing charges after stabbing another teen in the leg. The would is superficial and non-life threatening, according to deputies. They said the suspect was taken to the juvenile detention center.
